National Account Manager – Foodservice – Growing Drinks Brand - £50k – South East

They are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven National Account Manager to oversee and grow their foodservice sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in account management, excellent negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of the foodservice market. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, driving sales growth, and ensuring the successful execution of sales strategies.

The National Account Manager Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share within the foodservice sector.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with key foodservice accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Identify new business opportunities and work to convert these into profitable accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the effective delivery of products and services to clients.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic planning.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to senior management.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profitability.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to resolve any issues promptly.
  • The ideal National Account Manager Candidate:

  • Proven experience as a National Account Manager or similar role within the drinks or foodservice industry.
  • Strong understanding of the foodservice market and its dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM software.
