Job Description
Our Client are seeking a passionate and experienced Montessori Nursery Nurse to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Montessori education, with a commitment to creating a supportive and stimulating environment for young children.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and implement Montessori activities that promote the intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development of children.
Create a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment.
Observe and assess each child’s development and provide tailored support to meet individual needs.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and communicate effectively with parents.
Collaborate with team members to plan and organize special events and activities.
Stay updated with the latest Montessori practices and attend relevant training sessions.
Requirements
Montessori Certification: A recognized Montessori qualification.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years working in a Montessori setting is desirable but not essential
Education: NVQ Level 3 in Childcare (or equivalent) is desirable.
Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, patience, creativity, and a deep understanding of Montessori principles.
First Aid: Paediatric First Aid certification is a plus.
DBS Check: Must be able to pass an enhanced DBS check.
