Migrant Employment Lead needed in Oxford, £20.85ph PAYE – Reference: 5250168
You will ideally have –
The purpose of the job is to work as a member of the Children, Education and Families (CEF) team where you will be responsible for developing, leading and managing employment and qualifications conversion support to an increasing number of newly arrived migrants for whom limited English hinders integration.
The postholder will work within the Migrant Education, Employment and Adult Skills team, and also, for the Oxfordshire Migration Partnership. The role is integral to the Migrant Employment Framework that supports newly arrived migrants into work for education. A major focus will be on 16–19-year-olds in a co-ordinated approach that links school EAL to adult ESOL.
This is a Full role on a temporary contract basis.
