The Best Connection are looking for a MIG Welder for one of our prestigious clients based in the Halesfield area.
The position may go permanent for the right candidate.
Pay: £12.50 - £15.00 depending on experience / skill.
About the role:
Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: 07:00 - 15:00
Possible full time role for the right person.
Candidates will be invited to the site to have a tour and a MIG weld test.
Immediate starts available after passing a test
The thickness of steel to be welded is between 1.5mm and 5mm
Must be able to read drawings
Must be able to fabricate to the drawing spec
Our client also deals with stainless steel and aluminium, so any TIG welding experience would be a benefit; but not essential.
Requirements:
Competent in MIG Welding
Be fully time served or qualified
Experience with various thickness materials
TIG Welding would be an advantage (but not essential)
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Candidates must be able to work independently to the highest standards
Maintenance of welding equipment
Pay attention to detail and quality
Possess the ability to multi-task
Ensuring Health & Safety procedures are followed
