Midday Meal Supervisor (Part-time)
Are you looking for a rewarding part-time role in an SEN school? We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Midday Meal Supervisor to join a well-established school in West London. This is a long-term position starting immediately, offering flexible hours between 10:15am to 1:15pm, Monday to Thursday.
Responsibilities:
- Providing a safe and inclusive environment for students during their midday meal break
- Ensuring students are escorted and supervised in an orderly manner to and from the dining area
- Assisting students with their meals, including serving food and drinks
- Encouraging positive eating habits and promoting a healthy diet
- Monitoring students' behavior and resolving any conflicts or issues that may arise
- Assisting students with personal care tasks, such as feeding and toileting, as required
- Working closely with other staff members to create a cohesive and supportive team environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or young adults, preferably in an SEN setting
- A patient and compassionate nature, with a genuine desire to support and nurture students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution
- A basic understanding of safeguarding and health and safety procedures
