Protocol Education is currently seeking a dedicated Mental Health Support Worker to work with children who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in schools across Gateshead.

Your Responsibilities:

Provide Support: Offer mental health support to children with SEMH needs in schools across Gateshead.

Individualised Care: Work with children with ASC, complex learning disabilities, and EHCPs.

Collaborate: Be part of a supportive local authority dedicated to tailored support for each child.

Inspire and Motivate: Challenge and support each student to achieve their best, regardless of their needs.

Create a Positive Environment: Use effective behaviour management techniques to foster a positive learning atmosphere.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
