Job Details

Recruiting individuals to be based with secondary school mental health support units.

Successful candidates will have good knowledge of mental health conditions obtained through employment history or university studies.

Candidates will be advocates for improving the well-being of young people with a desire to improve their mental health.

This role will involve supporting a student 1:1 or in small groups. This may be classroom based or within schools’ inclusion centres.

We are looking for both full time and part time roles due to students requiring consistent support throughout their school week. This role could be to supply schools around Newcastle, North Tyneside and Northumberland.

It would be beneficial for candidates to have professional or personal experience supporting an individual with their mental wellbeing; however, this is not a requirement for the role.

Requirements for the role:

- Has or is willing to obtain an enhanced DBS.

- Has the right to work in the UK.

- Resilience

- Has positive communication skills.

- Is a kind and patient individual.

- Is passionate about supporting young people’s mental health.

Must be able to work full time.
