If you are a qualified Social Worker, who has experience of working with adults facing issues with their mental health, then this could be the role for you. As a Mental health Social Worker you will be playing a critical role in improving the overall wellbeing within the local community.
Responsibilities:
*Including but not limited to
- Using local knowledge and professional experience to make decisions that uphold autonomy whilst recognizing the social work role for safe intervention
- Ensuring assessments are accurate and service users are able to self-direct the assessment process and make informed decisions
- Playing a role within a range of multi-agency teams to ensure co-ordinated, appropriate assessments and support that remain person-centred and enable users to maintain their independence
- Providing users with appropriate levels of support whilst further ensuring that the user and council receive best value for money and that services
Requirements:
- Social Work Degree
- Registration with Social Work England
- Enhanced DBS, dated within the last 12 months. On the update service? You could be fast tracked through our recruitment process today .
- Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS if you do not currently hold one.
- Full U.K driving licence and access to own vehicle is advantageous
