JobOverview:
- Conductcomprehensive assessments of patients with mental healthdisorders.
- Develop and implement individualizedcare plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinaryteam.
- Administer medication and monitorpatients response to treatment.
- Providepsychoeducation to patients and their families on mental healthconditions and treatment options.
- Facilitatetherapeutic groups and activities to promote recovery andwellbeing.
- Maintain accurate and uptodatepatient records.
- Collaborate with otherhealthcare professionals to ensure holisticcare.
- Participate in clinical audits andquality improvement initiatives.
- Stay abreastof developments in the field of mental health nursing andparticipate in continuous professional developmentactivities.
Requirements:
- Registered Nursewith the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) in theUK.
- Diploma or degree in Mental HealthNursing.
- Demonstrated experience in mentalhealth nursing preferably in a similarsetting.
- Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills.
- Ability to workeffectively as part of a multidisciplinaryteam.
- Commitment to providing compassionatepatientcentred care.
- Knowledge of relevantlegislation and guidelines governing mental health care in theUK.
