-A good general knowledge of nuclear site non core operational practices would be advantageous coupled with a sound understanding of health & safety good practices.
Should have a high standard of workmanship within their technical field of expertise.
Must have ability to liaise with client representatives at on operational and H&S levels.
Experience of working with subcontractors across all workstreams. 5 years trade experience at the workface.What you'll need to succeed
-Relevant trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting (minimum of NVQ L3). Full clean driving license. IOSH Working Safely certificate (desirable). This is a mobile position across a large nuclear site, demanding a vary of physical activities to delivery the required service to the client. The candidate must have a flexible approach to working hours (including overtime) & will also be required to work rostered weekends.What you'll get in return
