Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons in line with the school's curriculum and standards.
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and guidance for improvement.
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment that fosters student growth and achievement.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the Maths curriculum.
- Collaborate with other teachers to plan and deliver cross-curricular projects and initiatives.
- Keep up to date with the latest developments in the field of Maths education and implement best practices in the classroom.
Requirements
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of the Maths curriculum.
- Proven experience teaching Maths at the primary or secondary level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and promote positive behaviour.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the latest teaching strategies and educational technologies.
- A positive and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning.
