Job description
As a Maths and English Teacher, you will play a key role in fostering a positive learning environment and helping students achieve academic success.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons in both Maths and English, catering to the diverse learning needs of students.
- Developing and implementing innovative teaching strategies to make the subjects accessible and interesting.
- Fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active student participation and critical thinking.
- Providing individualised support to students, addressing their unique learning styles and challenges.
- Regularly monitoring and evaluating student performance, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement.
- Identifying and addressing individual learning needs, ensuring all students have the opportunity to succeed.
- Communicating effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.
- Engaging in continuous professional development to enhance teaching skills and subject knowledge.
Requirements:
- A relevant degree in Education, Maths, English, or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for both Maths and English education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS if you do not currently hold one.
