Maths Teacher
QTS or PGCE Required
£120 – £180 per day

Are you looking for a brand new role which offers flexible working across a wide range of secondary schools based in Sheffield and South Yorkshire? We are currently seeking dedicated Maths Teachers to join Career Teachers in preparation for September long-term and permanent roles.
Requirements:
- QTS, PGCE or equivalent qualification.
- Relevant experience as a Maths Teacher within the key stage 3 & 4 levels or an ECT.
- Flexible, committed, motivational and passionate about teaching.
- A current DBS on the Update Service or is willing to complete a new one.
- Able to easily commute to Sheffield, South Yorkshire.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and comprehensive Maths lessons to students.
- The ability to teach all aspects of Maths in simple terms to allow easy understanding.
- Create a supporting and inclusive learning environment.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Maths curriculum.
- Maintain classroom standards in line with current school policies.
- Cover a range of other subjects where required.
Salary & working hours
Daily rates of pay vary dependent on experience between £120 to £180.
This is a flexible role with both full-time and part-time positions available – meaning, you have full control of when you are looking to work and how many hours you want to complete.
All quoted rates are inclusive of 12.07% holiday pay.
