Maths Teacher

QTS or PGCE Required

£120 – £180 per day

Sheffield / South Yorkshire

Full-time/Part-time, fully flexible.

Are you looking for a brand new role which offers flexible working across a wide range of secondary schools based in Sheffield and South Yorkshire? We are currently seeking dedicated Maths Teachers to join Career Teachers in preparation for September long-term and permanent roles.

Requirements:

  • QTS, PGCE or equivalent qualification.
  • Relevant experience as a Maths Teacher within the key stage 3 & 4 levels or an ECT.
  • Flexible, committed, motivational and passionate about teaching.
  • A current DBS on the Update Service or is willing to complete a new one.
  • Able to easily commute to Sheffield, South Yorkshire.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and comprehensive Maths lessons to students.
  • The ability to teach all aspects of Maths in simple terms to allow easy understanding.
  • Create a supporting and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Maths curriculum.
  • Maintain classroom standards in line with current school policies.
  • Cover a range of other subjects where required.

Salary & working hours

Daily rates of pay vary dependent on experience between £120 to £180.

This is a flexible role with both full-time and part-time positions available – meaning, you have full control of when you are looking to work and how many hours you want to complete.

All quoted rates are inclusive of 12.07% holiday pay.
