Job Summary
We are looking for a new colleague to be based in
What a typical day looks like:
Control stock levels in relation to product support lifecycles
Minimize “stock outs” to meet customer performance delivery targets
Manage and minimize excess stock to target levels by identifying and managing the safety stock levels for each commodity
Select best method of forecasting and recommend purchases to achieve optimum inventory levels
Issue, monitor and report accuracy for vendor forecasts
Identify and report both internally and externally risk associated with product portfolio.
The experience we are looking to add to the team :
At least GCSE level qualification
Some experience working in a planning role and in the usage of forecasting systems, such as Xelus or Kinaxis
A good understanding of business processes particularly relating to service parts planning, supply chain optimisation, repair operations and reverse logistics
High level of IT literacy including advanced Excel skills
Excellent communication skills & good eye for detail to ensure data accuracy
