Join our client, a world-renowned manufacturer of super precision bearings, as an Improvement Engineer - Setups & Changeovers. As an Improvement Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in implementing lean manufacturing initiatives aimed at reducing waste, streamlining processes, and enhancing overall efficiency. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities, develop action plans, and champion setup reduction and continuous improvement projects. Your efforts will help foster a culture of innovation and problem-solving within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
You will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive continuous improvement/setup reduction strategy. By identifying and analyzing machine setups, you'll uncover potential improvement opportunities and implement lean manufacturing tools such as SMED, 5S, Kanban, and Kaizen. You'll facilitate cross-functional collaboration on improvement projects, track progress, measure results, and report on the impact of these initiatives. Additionally, you will educate and train employees on continuous improvement principles, promoting a culture of open communication and problem-solving.

What We're Looking For:
- A Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in continuous improvement or lean manufacturing within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in lean manufacturing tools and a proven history of successful project implementation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
