A reputable and respected organisation based in Preston, are looking to recruit a Management Accountant for a newly created role. This role will sit within a well established finance team, boasting support and plenty of room for progression and development.
Your new role
As a Management Accountant, you will oversee the provision of a full Management Accounting service to ensure that accurate, timely, and relevant information is produced to enable effective financial management of the business. You will manage the daily operations of the Management Accounts team, providing support to Business Partners and non-Financial managers for ad hoc information requests and analysis. You will be expected to be involved in the implementation of a new bespoke, in-house system and ensure all processes and procedures are documented.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful for this role, you will have experience of management accounting and forecasting processes and providing financial analysis to both finance and non-finance managers. Experience of budgeting setting is preferable and the ability to use Excel to an advanced level to analyse financial data. You will be AAT qualified (or equivalent) and be working towards your CIMA/ACCA, with a view to be a qualified Accountant.
