The Role:
- Develop and deliver engaging and informative ICT lessons aligned with the National Curriculum across Key Stage 3 (and potentially GCSE).
- Cultivate a love of digital literacy, problem-solving, and critical thinking in your students within a supportive single-sex environment.
- Design and implement innovative lesson plans that utilize cutting-edge technologies and cater to diverse learning styles.
- Foster a safe and productive learning environment, ensuring responsible and ethical use of technology.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the ICT department to ensure the continued development and success of the program.
- (Optional, but desirable) Participate in mentoring initiatives for students or colleagues.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Possesses Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in a relevant subject area, with a strong focus on Information and Communications Technology.
- Holds a minimum of 2 years' successful teaching experience, preferably within a secondary school setting.
- Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of current ICT curriculum trends and assessment practices.
- Exhibits exceptional communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Maintains a genuine enthusiasm for creating a dynamic learning space that fosters digital exploration and innovation, specifically tailored to address the needs and interests of young women.
