Our Wedding Porter and Maintenance Assistant will be a dual
role with the requirement to work some weekends on a rotated basis, You will maintain daily checks to ensure the good running
of the building and equipment. You will be reliable and professional and
an all-round team player
Duties to include
- Assisting
in keeping public areas tidy and well-maintained - Helping
housekeeping, bar, and banqueting staff to set up rooms or move furniture - Ensuring
the safety of guests by, for instance, placing and removing signage that
indicates wet floors or paint - Physical
strength and endurance for carrying and moving large items - Good
listening skills to adequately gauge and anticipate the needs of guests
and wedding requirements - Excellent
verbal skills to effectively communicate with coworkers colleagues and
guests - Basic
maintenance skills to assist with maintenance tasks as needed, general DIY
skills - Maintenance
tasks such as replacing light bulbs, painting, decorating - Daily
checks such as gas and kerosene levels, drains, bio unit, bins. - Hot
tub cleaning and maintenance
