Job Purpose:
The Local Marketing Co-Ordinator will be responsible for highlighting and co-ordinating local marketing opportunities and implementing and optimising local marketing strategies and plans while working closely with cross-function teams to support delivery against business KPIs.
This role will be based on a hybrid basis from one of our cinemas within the Scotland/NE region. There will be an expectation that the successful candidate will need to travel to other cinemas across the region.
Please note that this is a fixed term contract for 9 months.
Key Accountabilities:
Develop a clear understanding of ODEON’s guests, brand propositions and estate segments. Including a detailed understanding of the local Scotland and NE England market. Work across multiple cinema locations and manage multiple campaigns and priorities.
Build a strong awareness of the localised cinema estate and local guest journeys by conducting regular cinema visits. To include strong awareness of competitor estate and marketing.
Highlight key opportunities for our cinemas within the region and assist in building localised marketing plans to support driving attendance, enhanced guest experience and additional revenue. Additionally highlighting opportunities for new initiatives and B2B opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (and external suppliers) and support in the development and end-to-end execution of local marketing campaigns for ODEON’s assets (pricing, brand, membership, film & premium large formats) to deliver against business KPIs.
Champion brand/marketing excellence in cinemas, defining what good looks like. Coaching and guiding cinemas and operational stakeholders on best practice, our current branding and marketing strategies.
Use local cinema performance data and audience insight to identify opportunities to drive attendance, guest experience and revenue
Key Skills:
Previous experience in marketing or a similar relevant role within the entertainment, retail, leisure or hospitality industries is essential. You should have good awareness of the local landscape.
Experience managing multiple priorities across a number of sites/locations is essential. Good time management skills are required.
Proven experience of end to end delivery of projects and campaigns including analysis of performance.
You are collaborative with strong communication skills and the ability to work cross functionally in a team and on your own. Able to make a persuasive, clear presentation of ideas, to convince others and gain acceptance of proposals or plans.
Strong commercial acumen and a passion for understanding guest drivers, needs and expectations
Some understanding of formulating strategic plans and monitoring performance. With the ability to establish a systematic course of action to achieve an objective effectively and efficiently.
A team player, leader and communicator who knows how to build and maintain relationships
High energy, goal oriented, driven individual who is great at getting things done
Able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, with a high degree of creative thinking and the ability to analyse and highlight opportunities and problems.
You will have a full UK driving licence and able to travel to cinemas across the region.
