We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Live-In Dog Nanny to provide top-tier care for the pets of a high net worth individual. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for dogs, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to provide personalized care to meet the unique needs of each pet. This role requires flexibility, discretion, and the ability to travel as needed.
Key responsibilities:
Provide daily feeding, grooming, and exercise for the dogs.
Administer medications and attend to any special dietary requirements.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for the dogs at all times.
Monitor the health and behaviour of the dogs, reporting any concerns to the owner or veterinarian.
Schedule and attend veterinary appointments, ensuring all vaccinations and health checks are up-to-date
Plan and engage in daily activities and playtime to ensure the dogs receive adequate physical and mental stimulation
Accompany the dogs during travel, ensuring their comfort and safety.
Prepare and pack necessary items for travel, including food, medications, and toys.
Maintain a clean and organized living space for the dogs.
Assist with light household duties related to the dogs, such as cleaning their living areas and laundry.
Essential experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with high net worth individuals.
Extensive knowledge of dog breeds, behaviour, and general care.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Discreet, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality.
Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
