We have an opportunity for a Legal Counsel to join our client’s team in London. The team works on a hybrid working basis.
Contract: until December 2024 (maternity cover)
Daily rate: £600 per day through umbrella
Hours: 40, Monday to Friday As a Legal Counsel, you will draft and review contracts for new technical upgrades and product releases, ensuring they are legally sound and align withpany policies. You’ll negotiate terms with stakeholders to protect our client’s interests while fostering collaborative relationships. Your work will be crucial in facilitating the seamless launch of innovative products, balancing legal integrity withmercial success.Legal Counsel responsibilitiesHarmonising innovation withmercial objectives, whilst ensuring control andernancepliance.
Efficiently disseminating information internally and externally, promoting self-service to minimise repetitive advice.
Navigatingplexity and ambiguity in a dynamic environment, with resilience in a fast-paced setting.
Providing strategic advice at senior management level.
Legal Counsel to Product Managers, Sales, Contract Attorneys, and other departments.
Leading legal support for product development, advising on terms, deal negotiations, and product lifecycle issues.
Supporting transformational projects and understanding the Security Product Portfolio.
What you’ll need to succeedUK Qualified Solicitor: Must be legally qualified to practice as a solicitor in the UK.
Experience in Internet and Technology Services: Should have a background in legal matters pertaining to the internet and technology sector.
Contractual Expertise: Proficient in reviewing and updating existing contracts, as well as drafting new agreements.
Negotiation Skills: Capable of negotiating terms effectively with various stakeholders.
Technical Product Launches: Previous experience with the legal aspects of technical product launches and upgrades is essential.
