Queen's Business School (QBS) at Queen’s University Belfast is currently seeking to appoint one or more exceptional candidates to the post of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in International Business/Strategy. These are key posts within QBS's Department of International Business, Entrepreneurship, & Marketing (IBEM). Successful candidates will have the opportunity to shape and strengthen the future direction of the IBEM Department from both a research and teaching perspective. Our supportive research environment enables attendance at international conferences, facilitates the pursuit of high-quality publications and fosters meaningful engagement with non-academic stakeholders. The appointed candidates will get the opportunity to interact and work with colleagues whose research is internationally renowned for excellence and societal impact. Current members of the IBEM Department have published their work in leading scholarly journals including Global Strategy Journal, Academy of Management Perspectives, Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, Research Policy, Organizational Research Methods, Journal of World Business, Human Resource Management Journal, Journal of Information Technology, Economic History Review, and Journal of Service Research. IBEM Department’s research is funded by multiple grant awarding bodies including the Economic and Social Research Council, British Academy, British Academy of Management, The Northern Ireland Department for the Economy, and the Canadian Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council.
About the person:
Appointed candidates are expected to undertake research in line with the School’s research strategy, design and deliver modules, contribute to the development of undergraduate, postgraduate and research programmes, and contribute to the School’s internationalisation, outreach, and administrative activities.
