About the role
The new role will support the growth of BioSciences’ new People and Nature Lab at UCL East through conducting cross-disciplinary research, teaching, outreach, and entrepreneurial activities in applied ecological and biodiversity research. We are particularly interested in candidates with interests in understanding the interconnectedness of ecosystem, environmental and human health - ‘One Health’, integrated ecosystem-based public health approaches, the impacts of climate change on biodiversity, health and disease, and/or applying cutting-edge AI tools to ecological and epidemiological questions.
This role is eligible for hybrid working with a minimum of 20% on site.

About you
You will have a doctoral degree in a relevant field, a strong research portfolio that is linked to the People and Nature Lab’s activities particularly around ‘One Health’, and previous research-based teaching experience, with a strong interest in interdisciplinary working, translational activity, and widening participation.
