Job description

Job purpose:

  • To provide a comprehensive support service within the Leasehold Services covering the full range of administration support activity and providing an efficient and effective Leasehold transactional service.
  • To work with colleagues in the team to deliver excellent customer service and to continually improve service delivery.
  • To assist in the processing and monitoring of a range of service activity.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • To distribute incoming correspondence, in accordance with procedures.
  • Respond to telephone enquiries securing the best service and outcomes for customers.
  • To provide support to senior staff on a planned or ad-hoc basis.
  • To attend out of office meetings when necessary as dictated by the needs of the service area, including evening meetings when required.
  • To comply with measures to protect the confidentiality of information in accordance with Tower Hamlets policies and procedures, including the duties outlined by the Data Protection Act.
  • To contribute towards achieving the Service’s performance targets.
  • To provide flexible support in response to the needs of the service in relation to producing invoices in an accurate and timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Administration experience.
  • Experience of working to deadlines.
  • Ability to use IT effectively including MS Office applications.
  • Experience of working in a customer facing role.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months. On the update service? You could be fast tracked through our recruitment process today.
  • Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS if you do not currently hold one.
