As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with their educational needs. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in the preparation and delivery of lessons.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Support students with special educational needs (SEN) to achieve their full potential.
  • Assist with administrative tasks and classroom organization.
  • Foster a nurturing and supportive atmosphere to enhance student learning.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is highly desirable.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine interest in supporting the educational development and well-being of students.
  • Dedication to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
