Overview
The governors of this large Primary School are seeking to appoint dynamic and inspirational Learning Support Assistants. King’s Wood staff are committed to raising standards in all areas and the successful applicant will help to challenge every child to be the best that they can be.
You will need to be able to work effectively as part of a caring committed team and be willing to become involved in the overall life and development of the school.
This is a permanent position with a start date to suit.

About the role
Training in Read Write Inc, PIXL would be an advantage as well as knowledge of working with children with development language disorders. This role can range from Nursery to Year 6 and each academic year may bring new and exciting challenges for the successful candidate to experience working in different year groups.

About you
You will preferably have had experience in an educational setting and will need to have excellent people skills and a warm and caring personality. The ability to communicate effectively with pupils and other staff will also be important. Opportunities for training are available. This post will include lunch time supervision.
