One of the country’s leading printing companies is searching for a senior salesperson with an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for innovation to join its leadership team. Bringing on board an abundance of experience developing new business within the pharmaceutical sector, this role will be integral to the company’s ambitious growth plans.
This Sales Manager role will be responsible for identifying, developing and delivering a sustainable growth pipeline specifically aimed at the pharmaceutical market. The successful candidate will excel in identifying a need for a solution to a complex problem that exists in a prospective customer, specifically where the technology or product does not exist, and then presenting it in a compelling way.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share to deliver growth
Act as the label specialist delivering specific products within our Key Account portfolio and lead KA team in these product introductions
Create and implement a Go To Market strategy focussed specifically at the Pharmaceutical Market
Work closely with the innovation and technical teams to prioritise items in the new product development pipeline
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, innovation, technical and regulatory affairs, to ensure the successful launch and promotion of new products
Customer management and direction including market growth, customer satisfaction, customer growth and profitability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify initiatives & innovative opportunities for market driven solutions
Conducting market research and staying up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities
Creating data visualisations and reports to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders at all levels
Skills, qualifications and/or experience
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
Proven sales experience within a Pharmaceutical secondary packaging environment
A strong understanding of regulatory compliance and industry guidelines
Entrepreneurial approach offering problem-solving solutions
Excellent communication, negotiation and collaboration skills as the role requires cross-functional support to identify and implement solutions
The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Strong analytical, planning and organisational skills
A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as marketing, business or life sciences is highly desirable
Computer Literate
Change management – persuasive as the role holder will need to convince and manage change
Candidates can be based anywhere in the UK as long as they can report to Wales every couple of weeks.
