Job Title: KS2 SEN Specialist Outreach Tutor

£20 - £30 Per hour

Job Duties:

  • Provide specialist support and tutoring to Key Stage 2 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their homes
  • Create and implement individualised learning plans tailored to students' specific needs
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to promote academic progress and personal development
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student support
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

  • Recognised qualification in Education or Special Educational Needs
  • Experience working with Key Stage 2 students with SEN
  • Strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Minimum of a relevant qualification in Education or Special Educational Needs

Experience:

Prior experience working with Key Stage 2 students with SEN

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Thorough knowledge of SEN best practises and interventions
  • Ability to create and deliver tailored learning plans
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Organisational skills and attention to detail

Working Conditions:

This role involves working directly with Key Stage 2 students with SEN in their homes.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
