Responsibilitiesof a KS1teacher:
- As aKS1teacher you will be responsible for the pastoral care of thechildren promoting teamwork and cultivating a conducive learningenvironment.
- Teaching the Key stage 1curriculumto groups of children while also focusing on each individual childslearning targets encouraging their strengths and improving theirweaknesses
- Further developing maths ability andintroducing fractions statistics andgeometry
- Keeping track of childrens progressand occasionally reporting back toparents

Requirements
- Qualifiedteacher status (QTS)
- Experience teachingprimary school students ideally in KS1
- A strongunderstanding of the National Curriculum and assessmentframeworks
- Excellent communication andorganisational skills and the ability to work effectively in ateam
- A passion for teaching and learning with acommitment to ongoing professionaldevelopment
