The Head Teacher of a thriving primary school based in Brent is looking to recruit several Graduate Teaching Assistants to support students across KS1.

In this Teaching Assistant role you will be supporting children 1:1 and in small groups, running reading & literacy interventions in addition to providing general classroom assistance. This Teaching Assistant role requires an immediate start and will operate on a full-time basis until the end of the academic year.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Strong academic background including GCSEs, A Levels and a Degree (2:1 or above)

Perfect for a bright English graduate who is considering Primary Teaching

Previous experience working in a child-related environment is essential

Passionate, confident and enthusiastic personality

Must hold an enhanced DBS (we can assist in your application for this)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Primary Teaching Assistant

Supporting children 1:1 and in small groups in Year 5 & 6

Running booster literacy & reading interventions

Supporting children with mild SEN & EAL

£85 - £100 per day

Long-term – full-time – September 2024 start
