We are currently recruiting for a Part Time Junior Sommelier to join Peter Street Kitchen at The Edwardian Manchester, A Radisson Collection Hotel.
Overview:
As a Junior Sommelier you will work alongside the restaurant team and the Sommelier to deliver an exceptional service to our guests by using an in-depth knowledge of our food and beverage menus to pair a wine that matches the food and is appropriate to their taste.
You will maintain the stock of the wine menu while sourcing new wines to suit the menu and business model.
The role of Junior Sommelier is responsible for supporting the wine service of the restaurant and ensuring all aspects of beverage service are immaculate.
About You:
To be considered for the role of Junior Sommelier it is essential you have good knowledge of New and Old-World wines, understanding current and future market trends.
Able to develop a high level of hotel product and services knowledge.
Has exceptional communication skills and builds good rapport with guests.
Has good attention to detail for all areas of service and restaurant needs.
Has ambition to progress and be part of a dynamic team.
