Here at Charles Stanley, we are seeking a detail orientated individual to join our Operations team, as a Junior Settlements Administrator. As a Junior Settlements Administrator you will learn how to reconcile and settle trades from the previous days’ trading, as well as being given a training programme to learn all aspects of settlements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Settle international trades within specified market deadlines.
- Receive, validate, and process market trades in various markets.
- Liaise with counterparties and brokers to ensure timely completion of trades.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of procedures and controls, identifying and communicating any changes or discrepancies.
- Manage your workflow efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Escalate outstanding issues to senior team members or team managers.
- Agree on FX netting with our providers.
- Reconcile all Market/Internal accounts.
- Process physical stock deposits into our Foreign custody.
- Monitor trade processing via the Order Router.
- Resolve queries from Investment Managers, usually via phone/email or WebEx.
- Maintain records both electronically and in hard copy.
- Provide cover for the department when needed.
- Undertake any ad hoc tasks as required.

- Good computer skills with a basic understanding in MS Excel & Word.

- Highly flexible with the ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
