Our Principal Consultant, Robin Thomas, is seeking an enthusiastic Sales Executive, to join a reputable and successful fluid power company that supplies and services industrial hose and hydraulic equipment.

As an Internal Sales Executive, youll provide great service to all customers by processing orders and enquiries promptly and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will be well presented, self-motivated, have a flexible attitude, the ability to communicate at all levels, and a commitment to helping drive the company forward.

Responsibilities

  • Receiving telephone and email requests for price quotations, order changes, adjustments, and cancellations
  • Accurately recording all enquiries and orders onto the company system
  • Compiling detailed quotations for more complex orders
  • Contacting suppliers and sourcing prices for non-stock items
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers
  • Providing timely support to External Sales Representatives as and when required
  • Taking on key account management responsibility for specific high value clients
  • To undertake any other duties from time to time as can be reasonable requested by the company
  • Essential Skills and Experience

  • Working in a fast-paced customer service delivery setting
  • Commercially assessing customer demands and associated costs & implications
  • Troubleshooting and problem solving to satisfy customer requests
  • Sales or Customer Service environment background
  • Recognising business opportunities
