On behalf of an awardwinningmultidisciplinary building consultancy practice we are seeking aSenior and an intermediate Building Surveyor with a strongfoundation of technical skills and experience in mixed surveyingand contract administration to join the business.
Requirements
KeyResponsibilities
- Conductingsurveys and putting together theresults
- Compiling condition surveyreports
- Preparing project schedulesof works and specifications
- Preparetender documentation
- Analysinghistorical records and evidence to ensure dataaccuracy
- Managing delivery/progressof construction works including contract administration chairingmeetings and minutepreparation
- Working closely withengineers architects and other specialists in preparing planningand other relevantsubmissions
- Presenting findings inreports updates with cost programme quality risk and health andsafety
- Analysing buildings toidentify any potential discrepancies with current building safetyregulations

- Minimum5 years of professional experience as a buildingsurveyor

- The preferred candidatewill be close to sitting their APC or newly qualified. Achieved orprogressing towards RICS professionalstatus
- Able to apply technicalknowledge in analysing problems and creatingsolutions
- Building Pathologyincluding assisting in the diagnosis of defects identification ofdeleterious materials and associated remedialworks
- Driving licence andwillingness to drive to sites whererequired
