It is committed to supporting all learners with SEN and complex needs and is a through school offering early years, primary, secondary and college provision. This school is one of the largest in the county and is oversubscribed. Students travel across the county to attend this school and residential setting. This school supports the 'whole child' ensuring that their educational, personal, social and physical development needs are met. This is a long standing school operating for over 15 years with over 5 consecutive Ofsted outstanding ratings. This setting is currently seeking an Individual needs assistant to support learners on a 1:1 and small group basis. You'd be joining a fun and dynamic team and be supported by a friendly and dedicated senior leadership team. This role is needed on a full time basis starting ASAP. Applicants for this position must be available Monday- Friday 08:30-4:30pm.

  • Relevant childcare, teaching assistant or care experience (Must be able to provide references)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Experience supporting children or adults with SEN needs (desirable)
  • Calm, nurturing and resilient individual
  • GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
  • Responsibilities:

  • Supporting learners on a 1:1, small group and whole class basis
  • Supporting the educational and general well being of SEN learners
  • Promoting, encouraging and creating a fun and engaging learning environment
  • This role is open to receiving applications over the next two weeks. Within a week of the closing date, appropriate applicants will begin a three-stage interview process, after which shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend the final stage of the interview process with appropriate school leadership.
