A new opportunity has arisen for an Import / Export Coordinator to join our client, a Removals specialist based in Surrey.

As the Import / Export Coordinator, you will arrange clearances of household furniture and appliances from around the world, ensuring the collection and delivery of all goods are carried out correctly.

You will coordinate agent-controlled moves and ensure all collection and delivery notes are issued properly.

Main duties of the Import / Export Coordinator:

  • Liaise with overseas agents and HM Customs regarding overseas operations.
  • Assist the International General Manager with the ongoing development of International systems.
  • Process all invoices using the company database.
  • Attend meetings and exhibitions to help promote the company and the services they provide.
  • Admin duties such as filing and ensuring the in-house database is continuously kept up to date.
  • Process all Shipping and Airfreight documentation.
  • Ensure the company is always following the Health and Safety Act at Work 1974.
  • Any other duties as and when required by management.
  • The successful Import / Export Coordinator will have strong knowledge/experience of Imports, and Exports and experience working within the industry.
