Are you a 2024 UK based Humanities subject graduate with a desire to find a Humanities A-Level Mentor role providing 1:1 & small group tuition across Year 12 & Year 13?

i-teachers are currently working with one of the top performing sixth form colleges in the country, who are eager to add a full-time Academic Support Tutor to work across their Year 12 & 13 year groups planning and conducting 1:1, small group and classroom supervision learning experiences for their students.

Humanities A-Level Mentor – Role Information:

  • Providing 1:1, small group and classroom supervision to students throughout academic year
  • Monitoring and helping progress academic & all-round progression of students
  • Working within your specialist subject area
  • Located in Birmingham, Balsall Heath area
  • Monday to Friday position – 08.30am to 16.30pm working hours
  • Paid £95 per day during term-time only before tax
  • Multiple online CPD courses available – SEN, Safeguarding & Mental Health

  • Humanities A-Level Mentor – Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 UK based Humanities subject degree
  • Strong academic background
  • Prior experience working with children or adolescents
  • Passionate about a career working within educational psychology
  • Good organisation and communication skills
  • Ability to build and develop rapport with students
  • Humanities A-Level Mentor – Sixth Form College:

  • OFSTED graded ‘Outstanding’ sixth form college
  • Located in Birmingham – Minutes outside city centre (B12)
