HSE Specialist

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently partnered with a leading chemical manufacturer in Middlesborough who are looking for a HSE Specialist to oversee their manufacturing operation.

Reporting into the UK HSE Manager, the role will take ownership for the sites policies, systems and the business are looking for a dynamic individual who can drive a positive culture across all levels. The business have multiple sites within the UK and a presence in over 36 countries.

Duties & Responsibilities include:

Implementation, development and maintenance of health, safety and environment programmes according to company standards and local regulations.

Evaluating production processes, systems and technology and recommending changes that will improve safety and reduce environment impact of the organisation’s operations.

Support, develop and maintain ISO management systems and the maintenance of the audit process.

Developing, co-ordinating and providing training in HSE topics to ensure employee understanding with the organisation’s policies and standards.

I'm keen to speak to experienced HSE professionals with the following skillset:

Holds a NEBOSH Certificate 

Experience of working with and implementing ISO14001/45001

Previous experience within an engineering/manufacturing environment

Strong communication skills
