About The Role
We are recruiting for a Contractor Controller to work at our Head office site in Barton-upon-Humber. The candidate will work 5 days per week from Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 15:30.

About The Role
We are recruiting for a Contractor Controller to work at our Head office site in Barton-upon-Humber. The candidate will work 5 days per week from Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 15:30.
Main responsibilities:
- Review RAMS and check Contractor's certification and licenses
- Ensure of in date Liability Insurance
- Vet potential contractors and adding successful companies to the approved contractor list
- Ensure all required documentation is provided by the contractors prior to work commencing
- Ensure contractors allowed to work on site are fit and proper for the work activities taking place, and those contractors understand and comply with their responsibilities and duties
- Conduct Site Inductions
- Conduct regular site inspections/ spot checks to ensure adherence to safety protocols and identify potential hazards
- Produce permits taking into consideration all elements of the task
- Sign off all permits on completion of works
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Provide H&S and production reports to management to agreed deadlines
- Ensure contractors carry out their work safely, reducing risk to themselves and company employees
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation, regulations, and standards
About You
Desirable skills and knowledge:
- NEBOSH General required
- Knowledge of ISO is desired
- Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance
- IOSH Managing Safely
- CDM experience
- Good computer skills and experience using Microsoft applications
- The ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
- Good organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Experience managing contractors is desired
- Willingness to travel to various sites if required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- High level of integrity and commitment to promoting a safe working environment
