I am looking for a special person to work in supported accommodation for homeless people, or those who are about to be made homeless.
In this role you will be:
Assisting with personal development plans
Helping to keep the houses running smoothly
Supporting clients to progress towards moving on into their own home
Signposting and providing support in areas such as mental health, physical health, education and employment
For this role, where you can make a difference to people’s lives, you must have:
Experience of working with vulnerable people
An NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent), or be working towards this
Experience of working within boundaries, appreciating the importance of confidentiality
The ability to write clear and concise reports as well as to communicate at all levels
The ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
Good IT Skills
A flexible approach to work contents and hours worked
Use of a car for work purposes
