Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging history lessons to students
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Support and motivate students to achieve their full potential
- Assess and evaluate students' progress regularly and provide feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
- Maintain accurate records of students' attendance and progress
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding students' performance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in History or a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience teaching history to primary or secondary students
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for history and a desire to inspire students
- Commitment to continuous professional development
