HGV Technician – scania Thirsk

Basic salary ranging from £32,672 – £40,657 per annum (based on a 40-hour week)

+ Annual bonus

An opportunity has arisen for an HGV Technician to join our Scania Thirsk Branch. Scania Thirsk is a 5 Bay Workshop , Including a 2 Pit and Tacho Bay Facility . You will be joining a team of x10 Technicians and benefitting from the support of 3x Parts personnel and 2x Service advisors, ready to assist you in your day-to-day activities. Scania Thirsk is equipped with specialist tools and equipment, and really is an example of a modern-day workshop!

Our HGV Technicians at Scania are involved in a variety of works, ranging from servicing , engine rebuilds , accident damage repairs , diagnostics, and much more.

    PREFERRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • LGV/HGV/PCV license an advantage
  • Bus and coach experience an advantage
  • IRTEC accreditation is desirable but not essential as we have IRTEC courses available
  • WORKING HOURS:

    ROTATINg Shift

    Week 1: MONDAY – THURSDAY 06:00 – 14:30, FRIDAY 06:00 – 13:30

    WEEK 2: MONDAY – THURSDAY 10:30 – 19:00, FRIDAY 10:30 – 19:00, AND EVERY OTHER SATURDAY 07:00 – 13:00 (Paid at 1.5x)
