Job Description

HGV Technician / Roadside Assistance at Commercial Garage in Oxford area. 

I am working with a Commercial Garage in Oxford who are seeking to recruit additional team members. Any previous experience within HGV / LCV / Trucks as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic is considered. 

Oxford HGV / LCV Technician

Roadside Assistance

Rotating shifts 07.30 – 16.00 and 13.30 to 22.00

£20PH + stand by payments

 Oxford HGV Technician

Week 1 7:30-16:00. Week 2 13:30-22:00.

£19 per hour

As an HGV Technician you’ll be responsible for the diagnosis, repair and service of the full range of LCV Vehicles. You’ll also be responsible for ensuring vehicle parts are handled and stored appropriately. And of course, you’ll also play your part in ensuring that customers receive great service, from start to finish.

Typical Duties of a HGV Mechanic include:

  • Servicing, repair and maintenance of Vehicles
  • Completion of Job Sheets and Documentation
  • Liaising with the Service Department and Parts Department
  • Completion of MOT preparation
