Hours are Monday to Thursday 8am - 5pm / Friday 8am -1pm
We are looking for an experienced HGV Fitter to join our client for a permanent role in Grantham in the workshop during this exciting time of growth and innovation.
As an HGV Fitter you will be required to:
•Fitting new truck and trailer components across a range of products.
•May be required to weld, fabricate, and paint.
•Make and fix small components on trucks and trailers (e.g. bracket fitting).
•Diagnose faults and rectify general maintenance also.
You will need to be experienced in HGV Fitter or Mobile Fitter or Trailer Fitting and have a proven track record and solid background in mechanical work.
In addition, the following key skills and experience are essential:
•Demonstrable experience as a Fitter, ideally in an HGV trailer workshop.
•Ability to use hand and power tools, such as hoists or air-powered devices,
•Welding, Fabricating, and/or Painting experience,
•Experience working on heavy commercial vehicles.
