The Best Connection are working with our Middlesbrough based client to source additional LGV C+E (Class 1) NIGHT SHIFT Trunk Drivers for their expanding operation.
There are on going as well as Ad hoc positions available
The role:
Starting at the Middlesbrough hub you will be driving across the country to deliver containers using skeleton trailers.
There is a minimum of "Hand-balling" involved
The Safe and Timely Operation of a C+E (Class one) vehicle
All vehicle checks and reporting of defects.
Achieving delivery slots
Using website-based delivery scheduling
Completion of delivery notes and associated paperwork
The candidate:
C+E (Class One) Licence
In date CPC and DIGI Card
Experience using "skelly" trailers
Experience in driving "Mirror Cam" Trucks
Rewards:
£16.15 per hour (PAYE) for all hours worked
Saturday and Sunday are part of standard working week
