The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Dartford area. We are looking for experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.
Hours: Monday to Friday, day shift (8-12 hour shift average)
Job Type : Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate.
The role:
Conduct up to 12 collections or deliveries per day.
Utilise an 18-tonne vehicle for multi-drop operations.
Use a pump truck and tail lift daily.
Adhere to customer requests and delivery schedules.
Ensure the safe and secure loading and unloading of goods.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the Class 2 vehicle.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections.
Requirements:
Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
Have at least 1 year of proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.
Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
Full understanding of WTD legislation.
Excellent communication skills.
