Healthcare Assistant – Complex Care ( Young Adult).
Location – Plymouth
Pay – up to £21 per hour
Shift – Full-time and Part-time (Days and Nights)

We are looking for a Health care assistant with complex skills to work with our client who is 19 and needs assistance to enjoy her life and she has Kleine-Levin Syndrome which is a sleep disorder and can mean she is awake for days and then asleep for very long periods after.
You will be supported in PEG nutrition and fluids, maintaining safety during seizures .You will be supported to give suction and monitor oxygen levels. In return you will get to work with a Nurse manager supporting you and regular supervision and meetings.
Ideally Friday day shift from 10-4 pm with one other day during the week to double up with either parents or another carer. Approx. 16 hours a week.
She is registered blind with light perception only and deaf with global development delay.
We are recruiting for a dedicated team of complex care assistants who are committed to supporting this package of care on an ongoing basis. Full training and clinical support will be given to all of our team.
Within this role you will be responsible for delivering and overseeing key health provision functions throughout the entire week, across both days and/or night shifts. You will be fully supported at all times by our qualified Nurse Managers, that oversee all Onecall24 Healthcare packages of care.
You will form a key part of the Onecall24 Healthcare complex care team within this role, becoming part of a team that truly believes in quality and person-centred care.
We ask that you have experience but is not essential in the following areas:
· Medication
· Peg
· Suctioning
· Hoist
. Epilepsy
You will receive full training in all specialist and person-centred elements of care delivery and 24-hour support. Due to the nature and potential location of this work, access to your own transport is desirable.
