Position Overview:  VitalCheck Wellness is seeking an experienced Physiotherapist with Health & Safety experience to support employees' wellness and company safety program at a global asset management firm located in London. This is a great opportunity for physiotherapists with a desire to improve daily lives and work performances for employees of the firm through a combination of clinical practice and health and safety program delivery. 

The Physiotherapist will be joining the Health & Safety (H&S) team of a global financial services firm. You will be primarily assisting the Health & Safety team with ergonomic assessments of the work setup of employees, and making suggestions for adjustments, while offering onsite physiotherapy to address and prevent MSK issues etc. From a clinical perspective, you will lead the onsite physiotherapy practice offering clinical appointments and group fitness sessions.

You will also have the opportunity to broaden your role and expand your career into the corporate space by assisting the health and safety team with regulatory compliance, program evaluation and design, management of global programs, risk management etc.

This role will also support extensive employee inquiries and interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite physiotherapy services to employees 3 days a week, including 1:1 physiotherapy sessions, strength classes and other wellness initiatives
  • Develop programming in the Studio to guide clients in practices of mindfulness, movement, and stretching exercises to enhance overall well-being.
  • Provide onsite support for global ergonomics program, conducting onsite assessments for employees and providing support and recommendations on desk adjustments, posture, and exercises to assist employees with musculoskeletal issues.
  • Conduct introductory workplace needs assessments to help eliminate barriers at work as needed.
  • Support global health and safety initiatives
  • Provide onsite support for incident investigations
  • Ad-hoc project support

Qualifications:

  • Registered Physiotherapist with the HCPS
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Physiotherapist.
  • Experience with workplace ergonomics.
  • Public health or health and safety experience.
  • Proficient with computers, Microsoft Office, EMR systems.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English and customer service skills.
  • Experience writing policies.
  • Experience with graphic design.
  • Able to think critically and quickly in a fluctuating environment for multiple situations at a time.
  • Confidence working in a corporate environment.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • Must be able to reliably commute to office in London.
