Title - Head of Quality and Business Excellence  A Snapshot of Your Day  To oversee the team responsible for Business Excellence and Quality Assurance of the Small Gas Turbines (SGT) business. This involves ensuring continual improvement of processes and products and compliance with all regulatory requirements. It will be directing resources to conduct and support improvement projects within the business related to HSE, quality, and people management standards. It will also ensure that SGT processes are fit for purpose through effective use of Quality Management techniques. This includes identifying improvement opportunities to enhance business processes, reduce waste and variation, and impact our product cost.  How You’ll Make an Impact 

To support the business and ensure timely delivery of products within budget and to required quality standards. 

Identifying and implementing improvement opportunities and activities that enhance capability, efficiency, and output in the short and long term. 

Develop, gain agreement for, support, and ensure the delivery of improvement projects to meet business targets. 

Effective communication of strategies and objectives is crucial to creating an environment of continuous improvement, teamwork, and positive industrial relations. 

What You Bring

In-depth understanding of continuous improvement, agile, and lean techniques to the level of Black Belt or Master Black Belt. 

Quality Management System ownership and development experience in line with regulatory requirements 

Management experience in both project and manufacturing environments. 

A BSc and/or MSc in an appropriate discipline is required. 

Management qualification is desirable.
