As a ‘Good with outstanding features’ Secondary School, we are looking to appoint an experienced PE Teacher, as the Head of PE. The Head Teacher is looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working PE Teacher, as Head of PE, who will have the aim of raising attainment, to lead the department.

Teaching and leading across Key Stages 3, 4 & 5

Delivering good and outstanding RE lessons

Leading a Department to raise attainment

Full time and permanent position – employed by the school

Inner London pay scale MPS / UPS + TLR 2B

Must hold UK QTS

Ambitious and driven personality

Pro – active approach

An advocate for your subject – PE

Able to teach PE to a high calibre

Good understanding of the PE curriculum

Graded ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’ in recent lesson observations

Experience of leading a team or managing members of staff ideal

Previous responsibility an advantage – pastoral or curriculum focused
